Dublin, Ireland-based Smurfit Kappa is a multi-billion dollar publicly-held company vertically entrenched in the global paper and packaging industry. The deal provided Scope Packaging the ability to expand through new product and service offerings while retaining its cherished family business culture, which was a priority for the shareholders. The deal enabled Smurfit Kappa to further increase its growing presence in the Southern California market.
